Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, I developed an affection for life's simple pleasures, like drinking sun tea and front porch sittin'. These impromptu moments to pause and absorb the world around me with awe and admiration have become essential to my design process. As a professional designer and an educator, I focus on opportunities to balance individual curiosity, empathy-driven inquiry and effective communication of complex ideas.
A graduate of Tyler School of Art's MFA graphic and interactive design program, I currently serve as the Program Director of the Graphic Design and Web Design programs at Thomas Jefferson University and moonlight as a freelance designer and illustrator.
